Data deletion

This page explains how to have your data deleted from Codager, including data created through the WhatsApp assistant integration. It exists to satisfy Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform requirement that apps provide a data deletion mechanism, and to give you a straightforward way to ask us to delete your data directly.

What you can do yourself, right now

Unlink your WhatsApp number

Go to Profile → WhatsApp → Unlink. This immediately removes the connection between your phone number and your Codager account — the assistant will no longer recognize that number or associate new messages with you.

What requires a request to us

Some deletions aren't self-service yet and need to go through us, including:

  • Deleting your entire account and associated data
  • Deleting specific projects or organizations you own
  • Deleting your WhatsApp conversation history or assistant audit logs
  • Deleting voice note recordings or transcripts before their automatic retention window expires

To request any of these, email privacy@xunoia.com (placeholder address — confirm or replace before launch) from, or mentioning, the email address associated with your account, and tell us what you'd like deleted.

What happens after a request

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them — this is a target, not a guaranteed turnaround.

In practice, "deletion" means: active database records for the requested data are removed; voice note audio stored in our object storage is deleted from storage, the same way our automatic retention cleanup already deletes expired recordings; and credentials stored in end-to-end vault mode are already unreadable by us without your own key, even before a deletion request.

Automatic deletion

WhatsApp voice notes are automatically deleted, audio and transcript alike, roughly 30 days after they're received, regardless of whether you make a request. This runs on a scheduled cleanup job and needs no action from you.
